Description
This print is based on a picture taken at the Switch House, Tate Modern’s twisting, ten-storey extension. Its focus is the sweeping central staircase, cast from pale grey concrete – a bold, beautifully modern take on Brutalist architecture.
The final design is coolly graphic and contemporary, riffing on symmetry and perspective to striking effect. An almost-monochrome palette echoes the building’s own pared-back beauty, framed by a soft, blue-grey border.
